The vision of

Global Church Movement

Global Church Movement exists to help establish vital, multiplying and sustainable churches and faith communities, one for every thousand people, in every rural village, suburban neighborhood, urban high-rise, and digital community.

In order to see this vision come to reality, one of GCM’s strategy is MC2.

  • So what is MC2?

MC2 stands for Multiplication of Churches and Communities, where every follower of Christ in every church or faith community is practicing Acts 2: 42-47.

    Heading

    Why MC2?

    • To understand the Father’s heart

    • In 2 Peter 3:9, “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” expressed the heartbeat of our heavenly Father that He doesn’t desire anyone to perish but all may come to repentance.

    • To obey the commandment of Jesus Christ

    • The Great Commission of Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:18-20, clearly spelled out that we as disciples of Christ are commanded to go make disciples of all nations. Since the Lord has us in this piece of land, it is our duty to obey His commandment by reaching the people with the gospel with the tangible love of Christ when every follower of Jesus Christ be trained to go pray, care and share within their network of relationships.

    • To follow after the example of Jesus.

    • As for Jesus discipled His disciples; equipped and sent them out, in the same manner, followers of Jesus Christ nowadays should be equipped and sent. The end desire is to see multiplication of healthy churches and faith communities established.

Because of these reasons, MC2 is designed in a way to train followers of Christ to go out by faith to pray, care and share, in the power of the Holy Spirit so that the lost people can be reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What is the desired outcome by the end of MC2?

Starting of a new small group that consists of 5 new believers or believers that be discipled to be future disciple-maker.

    How does MC2 work?

    • There are 10 weeks of learning with nine lessons and one digital mission.

    • Each training lesson consists of about 2 hours. Everyone will be working in a team of 4-5 people with a coach.

    • Throughout the week, every learner will go out by faith after the training to act upon the goal they have set. Eg., approaching people by telling their personal testimonies.

    • The team needs to set aside one hour before the next training session for a coaching session for team’s accountability.
